NTPC Limited, India’s largest integrated power utility, has reported a strong financial performance for the first half of FY 2026-27, registering impressive year-on-year growth in both standalone and consolidated Profit After Tax (PAT), reflecting its continued financial strength and operational resilience.

According to the unaudited financial results for H1 FY27, NTPC recorded a standalone PAT of ₹10,662 crore, marking a growth of 13.09 per cent over the corresponding period of the previous financial year. The company’s consolidated PAT stood at ₹14,247 crore, registering a significant year-on-year increase of 25.71 per cent.

The strong growth in consolidated profitability highlights the performance of the NTPC Group and the contribution of its wider business operations. The improvement in standalone profitability further underscores the strength of NTPC’s core power generation business and its sustained focus on operational efficiency and financial discipline.
