The Central Board of Direct taxes (CBDT) has deputed PK Dash as the principal chief commissioner of the Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh region.Dash will take charge on Tuesday. Dash had been on deputation for many years with the election commission of India and ministry of Environment Government of India. Dash is an Indian revenue service officer of 1982 batch, Dash had the position of the director of Expenditure monitoring at the election commission of India he was responsible for bringing the expenditure incurred by the contestants for MP and MLA elections under the model code of conduct currently Dash is deputed with the environment ministry the last principal chief commissioner of MP Chhattisgarh region Pawan Parmar Singh retire in the month of October and AK Chauhan is been given the charge of the principal commissioner of Chhattisgarh-MP region.
