Pawan Hans Pays Dividend to GoI and Launch of e-Portal & Mobile App

Pawan Hans achieved yet another record net operating profit of Rs.61.67 crores and Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs.36.08 crores during 2015-16 and paid dividend of Rs.10.82 crores to GOI and ONGC for the financial year 2015-16 on 31st January, 2017 at Ministry of Civil Aviation, Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan, New Delhi. The cheque of Rs.5.52 crores for the financial year 2015-16 was presented to the Minister of Civil Aviation P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju by Dr.B.P Sharma, CMD, Pawan Hans in the presence of Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha, Secretary,Civil Aviation, R.N. Choubey and other senior officials of Ministry and Pawan Hans. The dividend amount has been deposited in Pawan Hans has also outlined its Business Road Map-2027 for it’s overall business expansion in Operational Services (Helicopters, Seaplanes and Small Fixed Wing Aircrafts), Training & Skill Development, Business Development & Projects (MRO,Heliports/Helipads) and Consultancy Services & Foreign Projects to become 100 Helicopters Company by 2027.

During the dividend ceremony Minister of Civil aviation unveils Pawan Hans new corporate website at The relaunch forms part of the company’s national Brand and Business Impact Program and applies the new Pawan Hans branding to an online stage. Under the slogan “We fly FOR YOU”, the company has honed its National brand identity and captured the essence of all it has stood for since its founder achieved his first pioneering flying, engineering skills, genius, innovation, and a sense of responsibility. The new Website has been developed with a concept of “INNOVATIVE, INTEGRATED and INFORMATIVE” pattern. The needs and challenges of its customer and passengers are at the core of Pawan Hans communications. This is reflected in the structure of the new website, which is now even more user-friendly and, most notably, more interactive. Dr. B P Sharma, Chairman & Managing Director, Pawan Hans handing over dividend cheque to Minister Ashok Gajapati Raju Pushapati and Minister of State JayantSinha and. R N Choubey, Secretary was also present during the ceremony. The new website has been designed to provide the ultimate user-friendly experience with improved navigation and functionality throughout for customers delight. E-Portal for online charter and e-ticket booking also a part of this website for passenger under ease of booking tickets cashlessly to promote digital India initiative of GoI.
