Pawan Hans pays dividend to ONGC

Pawan Hans paid dividend of Rs. 3.80 Crores to ONGC. Dr.B.P. Sharma,CMD PHL handed over the cheque to D.K Sarraf, CMD ONGC in the presence of all Directors of ONGC & Senior Official of PHL. During the dividend paying ceremony, Pawan Hans briefed the Senior Officials of ONGC about various initiatives of Pawan Hans particularly in theOffshore Sector. Pawan Hans outlined the business expansion plans of the company to its Stakeholder’s and discussed its Strategic Business Plan 2020 to diversify its operations in Seaplane, Fixed Wing Operations, Development of Heliports & Heli Hubs, MRO, and to develop Skill Development facilities. PHL has also proposed to create offshore wing covering Oil & Gas exploration and providing best in class services in other offshore areas such as Goa, Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep.Pawan Hans under the administrative control of the Ministry of Civil
Aviation has been making profit since 1992 and paid Rs. 223.69 crores dividend as on 2014-15. For the financial year 2014-15 PHL’s operating revenue increased to Rs.538.15 crores (Rs.529.57 crores in the previous year). The net operating profit for 2014-15 is Rs.79.13 crores against
Rs.73.03 crores.
