New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the curtailment of tenure of Pawan Yadav, IAS (MN:2014), as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs under the Central Staffing Scheme. Further, the ACC has cleared his appointment as Private Secretary to the Minister for Home Affairs & Cooperation, Amit Shah, at the level of Deputy Secretary. He will serve in this role until April 2, 2027, or for the remaining period of his four-year central deputation tenure, whichever is earlier. His appointment will take effect from the date he assumes charge of the post and will be on a co-terminus basis with the Minister.
