PESB has recommended Vishwanath Suresh for the post of Chairman and Managing Director of MOIL Limited, the country’s leading manganese ore producer under the Ministry of Steel.

Vishwanath Suresh is presently serving as Director (Commercial) at NMDC Limited, where he has significantly contributed to enhancing market presence, operational efficiency, and strategic growth. His extensive experience in the mining and steel sectors positions him well to lead MOIL’s modernization and expansion initiatives.

Under his leadership, MOIL is expected to continue focusing on sustainable mining, value-added production, and capacity enhancement to meet the rising demand of India’s steel industry. The PESB recommendation will now be submitted to the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) for final approval before his formal appointment as CMD of MOIL Limited.
