By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM|The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has invited applications for the prestigious post of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), a leading Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways. Eligible and experienced candidates meeting the prescribed criteria may submit their applications through the proper channel. The last date for receipt of applications is 7 September 2026. The selection process will be conducted by PESB in accordance with the Government of India’s guidelines for appointments to top leadership positions in Central Public Sector Enterprises.

Sanjay Kumar Jain resigned as Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of IRCTC with effect from July 20, 2026, creating the vacancy for which PESB has now initiated the selection process.
