THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM|In a significant development, the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended Saleem Ahmad for the prestigious position of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), a premier Schedule ‘A’ Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways.

He is present Director Projects of NBCC India Ltd., Saleem Ahmad’s selection underscores PESB’s focus on leadership with vision, strategic insight, and proven administrative acumen to steer RVNL’s ambitious infrastructure and modernization projects. Known for its critical role in implementing key railway development works—including construction of new lines, doubling, electrification, and metro projects—RVNL stands at the forefront of India’s railway transformation journey.
