PFC makes foray into financing Green Energy Projects

(THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM) Under Ministry of Power, State-run Power Finance Corporation (PFC) makes foray into financing Green Energy Projects by extending financial assistance of Rs. 570 crore for deploying 700 electric buses under FAME-II initiative to e-mobility platform supported by Govt. of India and Govt. of U.K. The initiative will provide e-mobility in UP-Meerut, Agra, Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi etc for intra-city operations under PPP model reducing carbon footprint & offering green energy solutions. With this, PFC will play a pivotal role in promoting green & clean energy through EVs. Ravinder Singh Dhillon is the Chairman & Managing Director of Power Finance Corporation (PFC).
