PM Modi inaugurated RRGIS 2024, POWERGRID participated with great zeal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024 organised by Govt. of Rajasthan. POWERGRID participated in the event as a partner in Rajasthan’s progress. POWERGRID is setting up high voltage transmission networks harnessing Rajasthan’s immense solar and wind potential with ongoing projects amounting to approx. Rs. 55,000 Crore in addition to already formidable presence in the state.

During the summit, R. K. Tyagi, CMD POWERGRID met Bhajanlal Sharma, Chief Minister Rajasthan, Ms. Diya Kumari, Deputy Chief Minister Rajasthan, Heeralal Nagar Energy Minister, Rajasthan, Alok, Additional Chief Secretary, Energy, Rajasthan and other key dignitaries.

In the summit POWERGRID showcased its strong presence in Rajasthan and role in Rajasthan’s progress towards energy transition during Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024. On this occasion, R. K. Tyagi, CMD POWERGRID inaugurated the POWERGRID pavilion and POWERGRID’s Rajasthan Summit Brochure. Vikram Singh Bhal, ED (CMG-CC), D. K. Javeri, ED (Rajasthan JV), Abhinav Verma, CGM (IC) Rajasthan Projects, Anshuman Tandon, CGM (Corp. Comm) POWERGRID along with other officials, were present during this occasion.

R. K. Tyagi, CMD POWERGRID spoke as panellist during session on ‘Transition towards a Sustainable Energy Economy’ at the Rising Rajasthan 2024. The panel was graced by Pralhad Joshi, Minister of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India,Bhajan Lal Sharma, Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Heeralal Nagar, Energy Minister, Rajasthan. CMD POWERGRID focused on POWERGRID’s vision for sustainability and innovation & commitment to a greener, more sustainable future.

The panel also consisted of distinguished speakers such as Ghanshyam Prasad, Chairperson, CEA, Alok, Additional Chief Secretary, Energy, Rajasthan and eminent industry leaders.
