Under the campaign एक पेड़ माँ के नाम launched by the Prime Minister of India and as per the instructions of the Ministry of Power, a tree plantation program was organized on 21st August 2024 in the NHPC limited residential complex. R.K. Chaudhary, Chairman and Managing Director, NHPC inaugurated the program by planting saplings, On this occasion, R.P. Goyal Directors Finance, Uttam Lal Director Personnel, Executive Directors and other officials of NHPC also planted saplings. A total of 150 saplings were planted on this occasion. Under this campaign, NHPC has set a target of planting 4000 saplings and till now 2210 saplings have been planted at various places.
