1992batch IPS Officer of MP Cadre Adarsh Katiyar who is Inspector General of Gwalior Range will soon be joining in as OSD to MP Chief Minister Shivrahj Singh Chauhan in Bhopal Vallabh Bhawan, his orders as OSD to CM were issued recently. Adarsh Katiyar’s name was unanimously considered as first choice by the Govt. of MP while introducing historic SSP System in Bhopal. Adarsh Katiyar was made the first Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Bhopal in 2009. In his 24 years service which stared as ADC to MP Governor Mohd. Shafeeq Qurashi in 1992, and then later serving in Chhattisgarh Naxal dominated Bastar as SP; he also has been a part of UN Peace Mission in Kosovo for few years on central deputation in Govt. of India. Adarsh Katiyar has completed his schooling from St. Xavier’s School, Ranchi then B.Tech from IIT, Varanasi and M.Tech from IIT, Roorkee. he came to police service with his parent’s desire and his committed charter with conviction to do something for his nation.

Adarsh Katiyar established his credibility in entire Indian bureaucracy in all these years because of his significant approach to perform his duties without getting influenced from his higher-ups or from any political compulsion. However Katiyar firmly believes that one need not be callous in uniform services but even a modest approach with public and subordinates can be quite effective and result oriented.

He takes people on face value due to his sensitive nature. Katiyar firmly believes that if anyone is indulged in corruption then his act will some day surely affect his life. It is widely believed that Adarsh Katiyar will be instrumental enough to perform and deliver for new posting (OSD to CM of MP)
