President Droupadi Murmu has accepted the resignation of Brig. (Dr.) B. D. Mishra (Retd.) from the post of Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Ladakh.

In fresh gubernatorial appointments, Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh has been named the new Governor of Haryana, while Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju has been appointed Governor of Goa. Kavinder Gupta takes over as the new Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh.
