RailTel announced its Operating Income of Rs. 668 Crore in Q3 of FY’ 23-24 with 47% YOY growth and with 12% QOQ growth in its 144th Board Meeting held on 24th January 2024.The Company has posted a total income of Rs 675 Cr in Q3 of FY 24. The Company posted Rs 84 Crore Profit Before Tax (PBT) in Q3 of FY’24 as against Rs. 43 crores in corresponding period of previous year, registering a 95% YOY growth. The Company has posted Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 62 Cr in Q3 of FY 24 as against Rs. 32 Crore in the corresponding period of previous year registering a YoY growth of 94%. For the nine months ended on 31/12/2023, the company achieved a total Income of Rs 1770 crores and total PAT of Rs. 169 crores registering a 38% and 50% YOY growth respectively. Talking about the Q3 results, Sanjai Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director of RailTel said, “Operationally the Company has been performing consistently with an impressive growth of 12% on QoQ basis and 47 % on YoY basis in Operating Revenue. Growth in operating Revenue & PAT for the nine-month period of FY 24 also, has been encouraging. With healthy order book, the company has visibility of substantial growth in operating Income in coming quarters”.
