By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM| Jaipur: Chief Secretary of Rajasthan Srinivas Voruganti on 11th March 2026 held a comprehensive review meeting at the Jaipur Secretariat to assess the availability, supply chain and booking status of LPG and other petroleum products across the state. The high-level meeting brought together senior officials from multiple departments, district administrations and oil marketing companies to ensure that domestic consumers continue to receive uninterrupted LPG supply.

During the review, Voruganti interacted with Divisional Commissioners, District Collectors, Superintendents of Police, Inspector Generals of Police and Police Commissioners through a coordinated administrative platform. Representatives of oil marketing companies also participated in the deliberations, presenting an overview of the current supply position, distribution network efficiency and booking trends in different districts.

The Chief Secretary emphasised the importance of maintaining a robust and transparent supply system to safeguard the interests of domestic consumers. He directed district administrations and law enforcement authorities to remain vigilant against any attempts at hoarding, black marketing or diversion of LPG cylinders meant for household use.

Officials informed the meeting that the state government, in close coordination with oil marketing companies, has already activated a series of precautionary measures to streamline logistics, monitor cylinder movement and strengthen last-mile delivery mechanisms. District authorities have also been asked to closely track LPG bookings and ensure timely refilling and distribution.

Voruganti underlined that LPG is an essential household commodity and any disruption in its availability can directly impact daily life, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas. He therefore instructed officials to maintain constant coordination between the administration, police authorities and distribution agencies to keep the supply chain smooth and responsive.

The meeting concluded with the assurance that all necessary administrative and logistical steps have been put in place to protect and stabilise LPG supply to domestic consumers across Rajasthan. Continuous monitoring will remain in place to ensure that households face no inconvenience in accessing cooking gas during the coming weeks.
