REC Limited Wins Two Prestigious Honours at 47th All India PR Conference

The honours reaffirm the organisation’s strong commitment to transparent, credible and strategic communication in the public sector space.
The company received awards in the categories of Public Relations and In-house Journal, acknowledging its sustained efforts to strengthen stakeholder engagement, enhance institutional visibility, and communicate organisational initiatives with clarity and consistency. These recognitions highlight REC’s structured communication approach, which has played a key role in reinforcing trust among stakeholders and promoting openness in its operations.
The awards were presented by Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, former Union Cabinet Minister for Education and former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, along with Ritu Khanduri Bhushan, Speaker of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly. The honours were received by Sunil Bisht, CPM, REC Limited, Dehradun Office, along with members of the Corporate Communications team during the award ceremony held as part of the conference proceedings.
In addition to receiving the awards, REC’s Corporate Communications team actively contributed to the conference through a thematic presentation on “Role of Corporate Communication in Public Sector Undertakings”. The presentation highlighted how communication functions in PSUs have evolved from information dissemination to becoming strategic enablers of transparency, credibility and public trust.
