REC partners with CII for Skill Training and of Underprivileged Youth from seven states

New Delhi, 25th November: REC Limited has partnered with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) – One of the largest Industry Associations in India, to provide industry aligned, job oriented skill training and employment to 1500 youths from the economically weaker section of the society under their corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative. A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) in this regard was signed between both the institutions represented by Srinivas Shroff Nagesha Rao – CEO, REC Foundation and Sougata Roy Choudhury – Executive Director, CII.
Under the project, youths from the states of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, NCR, Bihar and Maharashtra will receive job oriented skill training as per industry requirements in sectors like Power; Information Technology & Information Technology Enabled Services (IT- ITes); Healthcare; Hospitality; Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI), Logistics and Beauty & Wellness. This initiative will create a win-win situation for community as well as Industry.
