‘REC’s CSR initiative’ CG Governor, flags off 4 Ambulances on Diwali.

The festival of lights is a reminder to illuminate the lives of others! On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, the Governor of Chhattisgarh Ramen Deka in presence Vivek Kumar Dewangan, CMD and other senior officials of REC & IRCS Chhattisgarh has flagged off 4 Mobile Medical Units under REC’s CSR initiative in partnership with the Indian Red Cross Society.
REC has committed financial support of ₹ 4.83 Cr. for the procurement and deployment of 4 Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) along with related operational expenditure for three years.
These units will bring primary health care services to the doorsteps of the deprived sections of society across 4 districts of Chhattisgarh.
The MMUs will serve as a lifeline for remote and underserved areas, offering essential medical care to individuals who may otherwise lack access to such services.
REC Foundation is also presently operating 10 Mobile Health Clinics under the ‘Doctor Apke Dwar’ CSR project in districts of Bihar.
