(THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM) R.K. Vishnoi, CMD, NHPC has been conferred D. Litt. (Honoris Causa) by Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeet for his exemplary performance in Power Sector and his outstanding contribution to the development of the country.

Dr. Deepak Jayant Tilak, Chancellor of Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth University and Great-Grandson of Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak conferred the D. Litt. (Honoris Causa) to Vishnoi. Vidyapeeth University is a historical University located in Pune established in 1921 by Mahatma Gandhi.

R.K. Vishnoi is the President of Indian Committee of International Commission of Large Dams (INCOLD) and is also representing India in INCOLD for the Technical Committee on Seismic Safety of Dams. He is also a member of the World Bank Expert Group.
