THDCIL Chairman and Managing Director Rajeev Kumar Vishnoi will continue to hold the additional charge as its CMD for another six months. The order is effective from September 1, 2023, according to a regulatory filing. Ministry of Power vide order dated 21.09.2023 has conveyed approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) to extend the additional charge of the post of CMD, NHPC Ltd assigned to Rajeev Kumar Vishnoi, CMD, THDCIL for a further period of six months w.e.f. 01.09.2023, or till the regular incumbent joins the post or until further orders, whichever is the earliest,” NHPC said in the filing.
