Nearly two years ahead of the end of his five-year term LIC chairman S.K. Roy has reportedly resigned, Final decision of the Government is now awaited. He wants to be relieved on June 29. if Roy’s resignation is accepted then V K Sharma is the most senior MD after the Chairman who may get  additional acharge of chairman till GoI appoints new chairman
