SBK Singh, a 1988 batch IPS officer, has been assigned additional charge as Commissioner of Delhi Police after the retirement of Sanjay Arora. Singh is presently serving as Director General of Police, Home Guard. He will take over the new role from August 1, 2025. Known for his long-standing service and administrative acumen, Singh is scheduled to retire in January 2026. His appointment ensures leadership continuity in the Delhi Police during this transitional phase following Arora’s superannuation.
