South Eastern Coal Fields limited (SECL) has been conferred with first prize for ERP implementation – at the Coal Minister’s Awards 2022-23, Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra, CMD, SECL received the award from Union Minister, Joshi Pralhad, Director Technical Operations S.K. Pal was also present. Implementation of ERP, a part of CIL ONE ERP Project Passion, covering 7 core business processes i.e. Production Planning, Finance and Controlling, Plant Maintenance, Sales and Distribution, Project Systems, Human Capital Management, and Materials Management completed in SECL.The ERP implementation is enabling to achieve best practices, proper monitoring and control of planning, projects and equipment to achieve targeted production, better inventory Control mgmt, timely and accurate payment of salary and wages and other dues of employees.
