Several Senior Officers from Multiple Services Empanelled for Joint Secretary Positions at the Centre

In a major administrative development, the Government of India has approved the empanelment of several senior officers from various All India and Central Services for holding the posts of Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Centre. The empanelment includes officers from batches ranging between 1995 and 2005 belonging to services such as IRS (Income Tax), IRS (Customs & Indirect Taxes), Indian Forest Service, IOFS, IP&TA&FS, ICoAS, and ITS. The move reflects the government’s continued focus on strengthening administrative leadership across ministries and departments.

2005 Batch IRS (Customs & Indirect Taxes) Officers Empanelled as Joint Secretary at Centre
Five officers of the 2005 batch of Indian Revenue Service (Customs & Indirect Taxes) have been empanelled for holding the posts of Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Centre. The officers are Arvind Saran, Jayaprahasam S., N. Gandhikumar, Pawan Kumar, and Santosh Kumar Mohanty.

2005 Batch IRS (Income Tax) Officers Empanelled as Joint Secretary at Centre
Thirteen officers of the 2005 batch of Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) have been empanelled for holding the posts of Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Centre. The empanelled officers include Aakash Dewangan, Anshuman Sharma, Anurag Sharma, J. Saravanan, Mukesh Kumar Jha, Nikhil Varma, Nishtha Tiwari, Premanand J, Rajat Kapoor, Ramesha G, Ritu Sharma, Satya Pal Kumar, and Vipul Agarwal.

Two officers of the 2005 batch of Indian Forest Service (IFoS) have been empanelled for holding the posts of Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Centre. The officers are Amit Verma (UD Cadre) and Neha Verma (UD Cadre).

Sanjay Kumar, officer of the 2003 batch of Indian Post & Telecommunication Accounts and Finance Service (IP&TA&FS), has been empanelled for holding the post of Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Centre.

2002 Batch IOFS Officers Empanelled as Joint Secretary at Centre
Nine officers of the 2002 batch of Indian Ordnance Factory Service (IOFS) have been empanelled for holding the posts of Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Centre. The officers are Anurag Anand, Ashish Kumar Gupta, Deepika Lohia Aran, Gurjeet Singh Dhillon, Kulveer Singh Yadav, Naval Kishor, Ngachan Z, Rajiv Kumar, and Vivek Virmani.

Five officers of the 1995 batch of Indian Telecommunications Service (ITS) have been empanelled for holding the posts of Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Centre. The officers are Mukesh Kumar, Navneet Chouhan, Sandeep Bhardwaj, Thomas Varghese, and V.D. Godhate.
