In a major administrative development, the Government of India has approved the empanelment of several senior officers from various All India and Central Services for holding the posts of Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Centre. The empanelment includes officers from batches ranging between 1995 and 2005 belonging to services such as IRS (Income Tax), IRS (Customs & Indirect Taxes), Indian Forest Service, IOFS, IP&TA&FS, ICoAS, and ITS. 2005 Batch IRS (Customs & Indirect Taxes) Officers Empanelled as Joint Secretary at Centre
Five officers of the 2005 batch of Indian Revenue Service (Customs & Indirect Taxes) have been empanelled for holding the posts of Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Centre. The officers are Arvind Saran, Jayaprahasam S., N. Gandhikumar, Pawan Kumar, and Santosh Kumar Mohanty.

2005 Batch IRS (Income Tax) Officers Empanelled as Joint Secretary at Centre
Thirteen officers of the 2005 batch of Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) have been empanelled for holding the posts of Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Centre. The empanelled officers include Aakash Dewangan, Anshuman Sharma, Anurag Sharma, J.
