SJVN is now a listed Company having shareholders pattern of 61.05 % with Govt. of India, 26.85% with Govt. of Himachal Pradesh and rest of 12.10 % with Public. The present paid up capital and authorized capital of SJVN is Rs. 3,929.80 Crore and Rs. 7,000 Crore respectively.The Net Worth as on 31.03.2019 is Rs.11238.78 Crore.

It may please be noted that recruitment in SJVN is carried out centrally from SJVN Corporate Head Quarter Shimla through a well established selection procedure comprising of Written Test and/or Trade test, and/or Personal Interview etc.

As and when there are any vacancies,the posts are notified through open advertisement in leading newspapers/ employment exchanges.The detailed advertisement clearly outlining the selection process is published on our website-sjvn.nic.in.

The prospective candidates are required to apply online through our website only and the application fee is also collected online only through an online payment gateway which is normally from Rs 100- 500/- only. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from the payment of application fee.
