Sudhansh Pant, Secretary, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways during his recent visit to Ka dla had mooted the idea of recognising and honouring the Retired Engineers of DPA. A letter to this effect was also sent by the MoPS&W to appreciate ans recognise the services rendered by retired employees which is a noble gesture. The progress made by the Port sector is commendable and is a great honour to the retired officials. As a step in this direction, a Port visit of the Retired DPA Engineers, who had given 30-40 years of their prime life in building the Port, was organised on 20.3.2023 who have given their young life of 30-40 yrs in building and developing the Port. This goodwill gesture was widely appreciated. The Retired Engineers also thanked the Ministry, S.K. Mehta,IFS, Chairman,Nandeesh Shukla, IRTS, Dy.Chairman and Raveendra Reddy,Chief Engineer for recognising their services and arranging the visit. During Port visit,Reddy and his team showed ongoing construction activities and progress of the Port.
The Retired Officers while expressing their gratitude wishes DPA more success in all future endeavours.
