The event witnessed the convergence of all employees of Corporate Office, all united in the spirit of yoga with great enthusiasm and fervour. R. K. Vishnoi, Chairman and Managing Director of THDC India Limited, extended his warm wishes to all employees on the occasion of International Yoga Day. Recognizing the importance of yoga in maintaining physical and mental well-being, Vishnoi emphasized the profound impact that the practice of yoga can have on individuals, fostering a sense of unity and global harmony. Vishnoi emphasized that the theme of this year’s celebration is “Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” holds immense significance in today’s world, where the need for unity, understanding, and mutual respect is paramount. He highlighted that through the practice of yoga, individuals can tap into their inner selves, nurturing qualities of compassion, inclusivity, and a sense of shared responsibility towards the well-being of all beings. with the theme ” Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,” is a testament to its dedication to promoting holistic well-being and global harmony. J. Behera, Director (Finance) during his address at the event expressed delight of being a part of this momentous occasion and emphasized the significance of the ” Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam ” theme. He highlighted the need for unity and global cooperation in creating a harmonious world and commended THDC India Limited for promoting such values through yoga. Shallinder Singh, Director (Personnel) while addressing the THDCIL family, emphasized the importance of inclusivity and compassion in today’s interconnected world. He encouraged all participants to internalize the essence of ” Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam ” and apply it in their daily lives, fostering a sense of oneness and mutual respect. THDCIL is one of the premier power generators in the country with installed capacity of 1587 MW with commissioning of Tehri Dam and HPP (1000 MW), Koteshwar HEP (400 MW) in Uttarakhand, Wind Power Projects of 50 MW at Patan and 63 MW at Dwarka in Gujarat, 24 MW Dhukwan Small Hydro Project, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh and 50 MW Solar Power Project at Kasaragod, Kerala to its credit.
