Three CVOs appointed in Key PSUs, REC, NFL & OIL

(THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM) Shalabh Tyagi Appointed as CVO, OIL , The Government of India has appointed Shalabh Tyagi, IRSEE (1997) as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Oil India Limited (OIL), Delhi/NCR. Tyagi, an officer of the Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE), brings extensive experience in administrative and technical roles. His appointment is expected to strengthen vigilance mechanisms in OIL, ensuring transparency and accountability in operations.
Amit Kumar Sharma Takes Charge as CVO, NFL: In another key appointment, Amit Kumar Sharma, IRS (IT:2004) has been named as the CVO of National Fertilizers Limited (NFL), Delhi. An officer of the Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax), Sharma has a distinguished career in taxation and vigilance-related matters. His expertise is expected to reinforce ethical governance in NFL, a leading public sector enterprise in the fertilizer sector.
Vinita Narera Appointed as CVO, REC
The Government of India has also appointed Vinita Narera, IRSSE (2000) as the CVO of Rural Electrification Corporation (REC), Delhi. A senior officer of the Indian Railway Service of Signal Engineers (IRSSE), Narera has extensive experience in technology-driven governance and vigilance administration. Her leadership is set to enhance transparency in REC’s operations, which play a crucial role in India’s power sector.
These appointments reflect the government’s commitment to strengthening vigilance frameworks in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), ensuring integrity and efficiency in their functioning.
