Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), in a compassionate and swift response, announced special concessions for the families of those who lost their lives in the crash. LIC expressed deep sorrow over the incident and reaffirmed its commitment to expedite claim settlements. Recognizing the gravity of the loss, LIC is working to ensure timely financial assistance, thereby demonstrating a responsible and empathetic approach during a national calamity.LIC has announced that in lieu of traditional death certificates, any government record indicating death in the crash or compensation paid by authorities will be accepted as valid proof. Efforts will be made to proactively reach claimants and provide speedy claim resolution. Affected families may contact the nearest LIC Branch, Division, or Customer Zone. NSE, BSE and Financial Markets Mourn the Loss
Both the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) issued solemn statements, mourning the tragic loss of lives.
The NSE said, “We mourn the tragic loss of 241 lives in the Ahmedabad plane crash… May their souls rest in peace and may their families find strength in this time of sorrow. ”
Similarly, BSE expressed, “We stand in solidarity with the families and loved ones affected by the Air India tragedy. Our deepest condolences to all those impacted.”

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), with major operations in Gujarat, expressed deep anguish. “As part of this community, we feel this loss deeply.
