Valedictory Function of Vigilance Awareness Week-2022

Valedictory Function on the occasion of observance of Vigilance Awareness Week-2022 was held at Corporate office of KIOCL at Bangalore on November 16,2022. CH Pratap Reddy, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Bangalore City was the Chief Guest. Speaking on the occasion, CH Pratap Reddy, pointed out various lacunae in the system giving scope for corruption in public administration and how systemic improvement, adoption and leveraging of technology can help in overcoming them and improve the lives of common citizen. He also stressed the need for ensuring integrity and transparency in one’s personal and professional domain to enhance people’s confidence in administration for eradicating corruption and becoming a developed nation.
T Saminathan, CMD highlighted various systemic improvements and IT based solutions being adopted in KIOCL to enhance transparency and efficiency in functioning of the organisation.
Prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions held among the Employees and students of Schools & Colleges to propagate this year’s theme of Vigilance Awareness Week – “Corruption Free India for a Developed Nation”. S.K Gorai, Director (Finance), KV Bhaskara Reddy, Director (Production & Projects), Binay Krushna Mahapatra, Director (Commercial) and Chief Vigilance Officer- Prashanth Kumar Balsavar were also present on the occasion.
