Vigilance Awareness Week observed at Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust

Mumbai, November 13th, 2019: The Vigilance Awareness Week was observed in Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) from 28th October, 2019 to 2nd November, 2019. During this week, a pledge was administered to all Officers and employees on 30th October, 2019 at 11.00 am. Various competitions like essay writing, slogan writing, posters, cartoons and elocutions were held during this week. An interactive session with port customers was held on 17th October, 2019. Representatives from Shipping Agencies attended the interactive session. Two workshops, one on “Materials Management” and other on “Tender Procedure for Govt. PSUs” was organized through Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM) for JNPT employees. A talk on “Conscious Decision Making – A path to executive integrity” was also organized for Sr. Officers. Raghu Nandan Prasad, IRSS (Retd.) was invited as speaker. Also an interactive session on “Integrity – A way of Life” was conducted for JNPT employees. Motivation lecture on “Success through ethical conduct” was also conducted for St. Mary’s JNP School Students. Street Play was organized in Administration Building and in Port area. The Valedictory function was held on 2nd November, 2019. Anil Ramteke, Chief Vigilance Officer was the Chief Guest of the function.Anil Ramteke stressed on Integrity – A way of Life and how to live life with honesty.
