Siddeshwara, Minister of State (Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises), Government of India presented “SCOPE Award for Excellence and Outstanding Contribution to the Public Sector Management – Institutional”to R.K. Gupta, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, WAPCOS. WAPCOS Limited is a “MINI RATNA-I” and ISO 9001:2008 Public Sector Enterprise under the Union Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation providing consultancy services in all facets of Water Resources, Power and Infrastructure Development in India and Abroad. The Company focussed on providing Concept to Commissioning Solutions, Capacity Building, Brand Recognition and Penetration into New Markets. As a result, during the last 6 years the Company’s presence has grown from 8 countries to 41 countries in Africa, MiddleEast and Asia and all States in India. The Company has secured “Excellent” Rating with MoU Composite Score of 1.0 for the last 6 years in succession. This is the Highest achievable score as per Performance Evaluation criteria of the Department of Public Enterprises, Govt. of India.
