This esteemed recognition was presented to WAPCOS at a glittering ceremony held at the India International Centre in New Delhi on January 10, 2025.

The award was graciously accepted by Amit Gupta, Senior General Manager and Rahul Israni, Deputy Chief Engineer, who represented WAPCOS at the ceremony. During his address, Amit Gupta shared insights into the company’s global projects, with particular emphasis on one of its impactful initiatives—the “Development of Irrigation and Watershed in Mpanga Sector, Rwanda.” This project has been instrumental in modernizing export-oriented agriculture in Rwanda, significantly improving the livelihoods of farmers, enhancing water management systems, and contributing to sustainable agricultural practices in the region.
