Kamal Nath Government in Madhya Pradesh, after the allotment of cabinet Minister’s portfolios; The Government is now looking in action, taking all the necessary decisions into consideration. CM Kamal Nath’s recent decision to appoint P C Sharma as the Minister Public Regards Department make Kamal Nath’s concern about his priorities clear. It indicates that the focus of Nath’s government now is on the effective propogation and comprehensive communication of his work done and further plans of his government is to reach out to the masses across the state. The previous govt of BJP’s Shivraj Singh Chauhan has incredibly patronised the department of Public Relations for about three decades. Department of Public Relations or it is called department of Information in other states, is the front face of any government that creates awareness about Government schemes and achievements among the public. The department primarily makes people of state understand about the Government schemes for public benefits and welfare.
In Madhya Pradesh, P Narhari is heading the department of Public Relations as administrative head, after the reshuffle of former Director, Ashutosh Pratap Singh, presently the post of DPR is vacant, the questions are going around in DPR’s corridors that to whom CM is going to pick for this significant post, will he be an outsider? However within the DPR some officer are highly suitable for the post Director Public Relations due to their vast experience and proven background, Mangla Mishra, Suresh Gupta and L R Sisodiya are some names who are competent enough for the post. The final call has to be taken by the CM himself as per his government’s priorities.
