Meeting to select new CBI Chief is expected to take place on 16th January in the evening. It is widely believed that two officer are front runner for this crucial post 1. Rupak Kumar Dutta who is an IPS Officer of 1981 Batch (Karnataka Cadre) former Special Director CBI and present Special Secretary in MHA 1. Alok Kumar Verma 1979 batch IPS officer of UT cadre Verma is Police Commissioner, Delhi. Million dollar question is “Will meeting take place ?”
