By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM| The Department of Economic Affairs has invited applications for the post of Adviser to the Executive Director, World Bank, Washington D.C., a Deputy Secretary/Director-level captive post of the Government of India. The position is proposed to be filled for three years, following the tenure of Sai Venkata Ramana Anil Das, whose approved deputation continues until June 14, 2027. Eligible officers must have at least two years’ Central Staffing Scheme experience, a Very Good service record and clear vigilance status, and should not exceed 54 years. Preference will be given to officers with Outstanding records. Applications must reach the department by October 9, 2026.
