President of India Shri Ramnath Kovind today falicited Ujjain District for excellent work being done for the past few year for senior citizen in the district. Ujjain District Collector Sanket Bhondve recieved the award for excellence from President of India Ramnath Kovind in function at New Delhi. Bhondve is an IAS Office of 2007 batch MP cadre. Bhondve is renowned for
his dedicated work where ever he has been posted. Ujjain city administration has been conducting free medical camp for senior citizens occasionaly. Many elderly persons were examined in the camps. Several diagnostic tests were conducted for general health, heart ailments, kidney and cancer. Psychiatric consultation, dental examination, ear-nose-throat (ENT) examination and orthopedic examination too were conducted by doctors.also in Ujjain
Older people day celebrated at Sewadham
Children and workers of Sewadham Ashram honoured elderly inmates residing in ashram on International day for older persons at an event held on Sunday. As a gesture of respect, traditional headgear was tied on head of elderly and pearl necklace was presented.
