NHDC signs MoU with Transparency International India

NHDC limited. has singed an MoU with Transparency International India for the Integrity Pact to bring transparency in contracts and better align with global standards of vigilance. Under this MoU, the corporation can get many benefits by subscribing to the Corporate Support Forum, in it, to give information about global standards of training, consultancy services and vigilance will be important.
The Memorandum of Understanding will enable transparency and vigilance standards to be implemented in the contracts to be done from the NHDC Corporate Headquarters and its power stations. Power generation companies like NHPC, NTPC, SJVNL have also entered into such agreements.
NHDC Limited, was established in 2000, is the largest hydro power generation company in the state of Madhya Pradesh. It has two projects in the state – Indira Sagar (1000 MW) and Omkareshwar (520 MW).
