A Delegation from Zambezi River Authority which operates Kariba Dam (World’s largest dam by storage volume) visited Master Control Room of NHPC’s Early Warning System set-up at Corporate Office (Faridabad) to understand the system architecture along with team of M/s Jomiso Consulting Pvt Ltd, New Delhi on 05.12.2024. The delegation interacted with R.K. Chaudhary, CMD, NHPC alongwith Sanjay Kumar Singh, Director (Projects & Technical). The delegates were briefed on Early Warning System setup at NHPC by Vishal Kumar Saini, Executive Director (D&E) and Mrs Manjusha Mishra, General Manager (Civil). Nkweendeda Avitoc from Zambezi River Authority also made a presentation on operation of the Kariba Dam Hydro-Electric scheme. The delegation appreciated NHPC’s initiatives in the field of Early Warning System.
