SJVN limited has always placed emphasis on promoting the use of Hindi in official work, with its Chairman and Managing Director,Bhupendra Gupta, consistently encouraging employees to adopt Hindi more extensively in their day-to-day functions. In continuation of this vision, a Hindi Workshop was organized today at the company’s Corporate Headquarters in Shimla.

The workshop was chaired by Chandra Shekhar Yadav, Executive Director (Personnel), as the Chief Guest. The main speaker for the session was Yatindra Kumar Kataria, Member of the Hindi Advisory Committee, Ministry of Power. Ashish Pant, General Manager (Rajbhasha), was also present on the occasion.

During the workshop, Yatindra Kumar Kataria shared his experiences on “writing and speaking better Hindi” and provided practical solutions to common grammatical and language-related challenges faced while conducting official work in Hindi.

A total of 32 officers from various departments of the Corporate Headquarters participated in the workshop. The session also witnessed useful discussions between speakers and participants on different aspects of the effective implementation of Rajbhasha in office functioning.

The workshop once again highlighted SJVN’s commitment towards strengthening the use of Hindi in its operations and creating a culture of linguistic inclusivity across the organization.
