By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM| Air Marshal B Manikantan, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Air Command, met Madhya Pradesh Chief Secretary Anurag Jain in Bhopal on 6 December 2025. The meeting centred on enhancing coordination between the Central Air Command and the state administration in matters of security, humanitarian assistance, disaster relief and other areas of mutual interest.
Air Marshal Manikantan reaffirmed the Central Air Command’s steadfast commitment to supporting the State, particularly during contingencies and HADR operations. He highlighted the Indian Air Force’s readiness to work hand-in-hand with the Madhya Pradesh administration whenever critical interventions are required.
Chief Secretary Anurag Jain, known for his proactive leadership, administrative acumen and result-oriented approach, conveyed deep appreciation for the IAF’s timely and invaluable support during emergencies. He noted that the IAF’s swift and dependable response has consistently strengthened the state’s disaster management framework. Jain’s emphasis on preparedness, coordination and efficiency has been instrumental in elevating MP’s capability to respond effectively to crises.
He reiterated that strong synergy between the State administration and the IAF not only enhances operational readiness but also reassures citizens of the government’s commitment to safety and resilience.
