By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM|A state-of-the-art Samsung Ultrasound (Sonography) Machine – V7 was inaugurated today, 15 January 2026, at the Indira Vihar Health Centre, Bilaspur, operated by South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL). The machine was formally inaugurated by Biranchi Das, Director (Human Resources), SECL.

The occasion was graced by Dr. Shruti Dev Mishra, Chief Medical Services (CMS), Dr. Arihant Jain, In-charge of Indira Vihar Health Centre, along with other officers and employees.

Radiologist Dr. Anshuman Mishra highlighted the critical role of sonography in modern diagnostic services. He informed that with the installation of the Samsung V7 ultrasound machine, advanced diagnostic facilities such as abdominal sonography, soft tissue sonography, and colour Doppler examinations for vascular assessment will now be available at the Indira Vihar Health Centre itself. This will eliminate the need for patients to travel to larger hospitals and will ensure timely and accurate diagnosis.

It is noteworthy that the Samsung V7 is regarded as one of the most advanced ultrasound systems in its category. Equipped with the latest technology-driven software and advanced features, the machine enables high-quality and highly accurate sonography and colour Doppler investigations across a wide range of clinical requirements.
