Haryana IAS Reshuffle Signals Administrative Realignment Across Key Departments

By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM| In a significant administrative exercise, the Government of Haryana has carried out a wide-ranging reshuffle of IAS officers, aimed at strengthening governance, improving coordination, and aligning leadership with evolving policy priorities across departments.
The reshuffle places senior officers in crucial roles. Raja Sekhar Vundru has been assigned Transport and Printing portfolios, while G. Anupama takes charge of Social Justice and Civil Aviation. Apoorva Kumar Singh moves to Higher Education and PWD, and Anurag Agrawal assumes responsibility for Town and Country Planning, reflecting a renewed focus on urban development.
Key administrative departments have also seen strategic postings. Vijayendra Kumar will oversee Agriculture and Personnel, while Pankaj Agrawal handles Irrigation and Mines. Vijay Singh Dahiya takes charge of School Education, Animal Husbandry, and Sports, indicating emphasis on human development sectors.
In infrastructure and institutional roles, Phool Chand Meena has been appointed CEO of Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority, while Mona Sreenivas takes over as Resident Commissioner in New Delhi alongside responsibilities in Sonipat. J. Ganesan and Ashok Kumar Meena have been entrusted with multiple departments, highlighting the need for experienced leadership in governance and service delivery.
At the operational level, officers such as Mukul Kumar, Aditya Dahiya, Vijay Kumar Siddappa Bhatti, and Sushil Sarwan have been given key roles in urban bodies, power utilities, and infrastructure corporations. Vikram and Neha Singh have also been assigned important field and administrative responsibilities.
Among mid-level officers, Varsha Khangwal has been given additional charge of the State Project Director role in the Haryana School Shiksha Pariyojna Parishad, while Manita Malik and Vandana Disodia have been posted in education and skill development sectors respectively.
Overall, the reshuffle reflects a calibrated approach to governance, balancing experience with domain expertise. By repositioning officers across critical sectors such as infrastructure, education, agriculture, and urban development, the state government aims to enhance administrative efficiency, accelerate project execution, and ensure better public service delivery.
