By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM| Jaipur: Ambassador of India to Japan, Nagma Mohammad Malik (IFS), paid a significant visit to the Rajasthan Secretariat, marking an important step toward deepening administrative and institutional engagement between India and Japan.
During her visit, she met Chief Secretary Srinivas Voruganti and held detailed discussions with senior officials on governance practices, administrative reforms, and potential areas of collaboration. The interaction reflected a shared commitment to strengthening bilateral ties through knowledge exchange and institutional partnerships.
Senior officials present during the meeting included Sreya Guha, Director General of HCM Rajasthan State Institute of Public Administration (HCMRIPA); Archana Singh, Secretary, Department of Personnel; Dinesh Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary, Administrative Reforms; and Rakesh Sharma, Director, Information and Public Relations.
The discussions focused on enhancing administrative efficiency, capacity building, and exploring opportunities for cooperation in public administration and governance innovation. The visit also highlighted Rajasthan’s growing engagement with global stakeholders and its readiness to adopt best practices from international partners like Japan.
Ambassador Malik’s interaction with top state officials underscored the importance of sub-national diplomacy in advancing India’s broader international partnerships.
