By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM: India’s premier management institution, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, is set to host an Open House Session in New Delhi for its prestigious Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy and Management (PGPPM), a flagship programme designed for professionals seeking leadership roles in governance, administration, and public policy.

The Open House Session will be held on May 10, 2026 (Sunday) from 12 PM onwards at the India International Centre (IIC), Delhi. The session aims to provide aspiring candidates with insights into the programme structure, academic approach, career opportunities, and admission process.

The PGPPM is a 14-month hybrid postgraduate programme leading to the Master of Management Studies (Public Policy) degree. The programme is open to both Government-sponsored participants under the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) and non-government professionals from diverse sectors including infrastructure, development, social enterprises, consulting, and private industry.

Started in 2002, the programme has built a strong reputation for nurturing policy professionals who contribute meaningfully to governance and public administration in India. The redesigned format combines public policy frameworks with management education, enabling participants to strengthen leadership capabilities, policy analysis, strategic thinking, and administrative efficiency.

According to IIM Bangalore, the programme promotes cross-learning among senior government officers, policymakers, and professionals from non-government sectors, creating a dynamic learning ecosystem focused on contemporary policy challenges and governance reforms.

The initiative reflects the growing importance of evidence-based policymaking and professional public administration in a rapidly evolving socio-economic environment. With increasing demand for skilled public policy professionals across sectors, the PGPPM seeks to bridge governance and management through interdisciplinary learning.
