SECL Strengthens Healthcare Services with Advanced Hematology Analyzer Inauguration by SC Dubey

By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM|Union Minister of State for Coal and Mines Satish Chandra Dubey inaugurated a state-of-the-art 5-Part Hematology Analyzer Unit at the SECL Health Centre in Indira Vihar during his visit to Bilaspur. The inauguration ceremony was attended by SECL Chairman-cum-Managing Director Harish Duhan, Director (HR) Biranchi Das, Director (Finance) Darla Sunil Kumar, CVO Himanshu Jain, Director Technical (Planning/Projects) Ramesh Chandra Mahapatra, senior ministry officials, and SECL employees.

Following the inauguration, the Minister visited the health centre and reviewed the medical facilities and services available at the hospital. He appreciated the modern healthcare infrastructure and commended doctors and healthcare staff for their dedicated efforts in delivering quality medical services to patients. He also provided guidance for further strengthening healthcare services and praised SECL’s continuous initiatives in this direction.

The newly inaugurated 5-Part Hematology Analyzer Unit marks a significant advancement in the hospital’s diagnostic capabilities. Equipped with advanced technology, the machine enables precise 5-part differential testing of White Blood Cells (WBC), ensuring accurate detection of infections and various diseases. Its automated testing system will deliver faster, more reliable, and error-free reports, reducing the scope for human error while increasing laboratory efficiency through high sample processing capacity.

The advanced analyzer will also facilitate detailed examination of RBCs, platelets, and other blood parameters, assisting in the early detection of abnormal blood cells and infection-related indicators. Additionally, its digital data storage and quality control features will ensure better record management and dependable reporting, thereby enhancing the overall quality of healthcare services for patients.
