Rohit Kumar Repatriated to Rajasthan Cadre-ACC approves return from NITI Aayog

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved the repatriation of Rohit Kumar, IAS (RJ:97), Additional Secretary, NITI Aayog, to his parent Rajasthan cadre with imposition of an extended cooling-off period.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved extension in central deputation tenure of Rajeev Singh Thakur, IAS (RJ:95), Adviser, NITI Aayog in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary for a period of six months beyond 03.06.2026 i.e. up to 03.12.2026 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, by continuing temporary upgradation of the post.
