By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM| RAIPUR: Demonstrating a proactive and results-oriented approach to governance, Chhattisgarh Chief Secretary Vikas Sheel chaired a high-level meeting of Secretaries-in-Charge of all departments at Mahanadi Bhavan, the state secretariat, to review the implementation and progress of key government schemes and development initiatives.

The comprehensive review reflected the state administration’s commitment to ensuring effective execution of welfare programmes, timely delivery of public services, and coordinated departmental functioning. During the meeting, Vikas Sheel emphasized the importance of citizen-centric governance and directed officials to take necessary steps to integrate all online government services with the state’s “Seva Setu” platform. The initiative is expected to streamline service delivery, enhance accessibility, and strengthen transparency and efficiency in public administration.

The Chief Secretary’s focus on expanding digital governance aligns with the broader objective of making government services more accessible to citizens through technology-driven solutions. By bringing all online services under a unified platform, the administration aims to simplify processes and improve the overall experience of citizens seeking government assistance.

The meeting also reviewed preparedness for the upcoming Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly session scheduled from July 13 to July 17, 2026. Vikas Sheel directed all departments to complete necessary preparations well in advance and instructed departmental officers to remain present in the Assembly during the session to ensure prompt responses and smooth coordination on legislative matters.

The review highlighted the Chief Secretary’s emphasis on accountability, administrative efficiency, and seamless coordination among departments.
