By THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM| New Delhi: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) Chairman and Managing Director Sanjay Kumar Jain has resigned on personal grounds. The Ministry of Railways has approved his resignation, which will take effect from July 20, 2026.

In a regulatory filing, IRCTC informed stock exchanges that the Ministry conveyed the approval through a letter dated June 22, 2026. The company stated that orders regarding the assignment of additional charge for the post of CMD will be issued separately. Jain’s departure marks a leadership transition at one of India’s leading public sector enterprises in the railway and tourism sector.
