At the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference – Central Gujarat 2026, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel held an extensive one-to-one interaction with representatives of leading industry associations, underscoring the state’s consultative approach to governance. The meeting reflected Gujarat’s long-standing philosophy that sustainable economic growth is best achieved through continuous engagement with stakeholders and responsive policymaking.

Industry representatives highlighted concerns relating to taxation, infrastructure development in Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) estates, renewable energy approvals, logistics, labour regulations, availability of raw materials, industrial expansion, and sector-specific incentives. These are critical areas that determine operational efficiency and the ease of doing business in a rapidly evolving economic landscape.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel assured industry leaders that the government would address their concerns on priority, reiterating Gujarat’s commitment to timely decision-making and effective governance. An important aspect of the interaction was the emphasis on creating greater awareness about the Viksit Gujarat Industrial Policy 2026. Special attention was also given to Project THRIVE, a strategic initiative designed to enhance industrial competitiveness, promote innovation, and facilitate sustainable expansion across sectors.

The meeting further highlighted the importance of enabling industries to effectively leverage various Central Government schemes aimed at strengthening manufacturing, encouraging technology adoption, improving productivity, and enhancing global competitiveness. Better coordination between state initiatives and national programmes is expected to create new opportunities for investment, employment generation, and economic development.
